Not long ago, my husband told me about a woman he felt sorry for—she was stuck in a painful relationship.
And I said to him, “Don’t feel sorry. This isn’t about luck or circumstance. It’s about self-worth.”
Because even if someone came and “fixed” her situation for her, she would soon end up in another similar one.
Why? Because deep down, she believes she’s not worthy of more.
We all have an inner code that quietly decides what we’ll accept.
When you stay in an unfulfilling relationship, tolerate poor treatment, or settle for less than you want, you’re sending a message to yourself and to life: “This is what I believe I deserve.”
But the moment you say, “No more—I am worth more than this,” your reality begins to change.
That’s how valuing yourself changes every area of your life—it shifts your standards, your choices, and ultimately your results.
