I’m Liina Vettik, a mother of three, a wife, a real estate developer, and an entrepreneurship coach for women like you. I’ve learned through my own journey and from coaching countless women that creating your best year isn’t about doing more or chasing perfection. It’s about aligning your intentions, mastering your mindset, and committing to your vision. Let’s dive into the three transformative steps to create your best year yet.

1. Set Intentions Without Attachment

The first step to crafting your best year is setting clear intentions. Unlike rigid SMART goals, intentions are flexible and aspirational. They’re about what you’d love to experience or achieve, without the pressure of strict deadlines.

Why is this important? Because attaching too much weight to specific outcomes can create unnecessary tension and self-doubt. For example, if you set a goal to hit a revenue milestone by March and fall short, you might feel like a failure. Instead, approach your intentions with a sense of curiosity and possibility.

Ask yourself:

  • What would I love to experience in my business this year?
  • How do I want to feel as I work toward these intentions?

Write them down, visualize them, and then release the need to control how and when they manifest. This approach keeps your energy positive and your confidence intact.

2. Master the Power of Now

The secret to a transformative year lies in your ability to stay present. Your thoughts and feelings in this moment shape your actions, which ultimately determine your results. If you’re caught in a loop of negativity — worrying about money, doubting your abilities, or feeling frustrated with your team — you’re likely to attract more of the same.

Here’s how to shift your energy:

  • Notice Your Thoughts: When you catch yourself in a negative mindset, pause and ask, “What am I thinking right now that’s making me feel this way?”
  • Choose Better Thoughts: Replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones. For instance, instead of “I’m not good at marketing,” think, “I’m learning and growing every day.”
  • Focus on Gratitude: Reflect on what’s going well in your life and business. Gratitude is a powerful antidote to fear and lack.

By consistently practicing this awareness, you’ll build a resilient mindset that fuels positive action and keeps you aligned with your goals.

3. Decide and Commit

Intentions and mindset are powerful, but they’re only part of the equation. The final step is to make a decision and commit fully to your vision. This means asking yourself, “Are my goals worthy of my time, energy, and resources?” If the answer is yes, it’s time to take action.

You don’t need to know every step of the journey. Start with one small, deliberate action. Each step will reveal new opportunities, ideas, and connections. Trust the process and stay committed, even when challenges arise.

Remember:

  • Your intentions are already worthy of you.
  • You don’t need to prove your worth to anyone.
  • The path will unfold as you move forward.
